Christmas flags

Here are a couple of historic flags (no longer in official use) that I think look rather Christmassy. Can you identify them?
Vexillarium is a Latin based word meaning Flag Room. It might also be translated into the naval term, Flag Locker. With the opening of Vexillarium, I welcome you into my Flag Locker.

I would say that they are old Italian states. Given the colours. San Marino maybe being one, but I am not sure.
It's the katanga flag 1960-1963
Sonck has correctly identified the flag of Katanga. The other flag, the tr-colour with the cross of Savoy, was the flag of Italy from 1848 to 1946. So "anonmymous" was almost correct.
