Pitcairn stamp honours Old Glory

Pitcairn Island, the British colony in the South Pacific founded by the survivors of the HMS Bounty mutineers, has issued a postage stamp commemorating the 175th anniversary of their return to Pitcairn on board the Charles Doggett, captained by William Driver, father of Old Glory.

I cannot believe how many flags have changed since the fall the of USSR. My political science degree has now become a study of history.
